5 years Muscle twitches happen at night. Usually lasts about a week in one place. Hands, scalp, legs, internal and dangerously my throat.

I have RA. No drug interaction Sleep study said no seizures, but they did pick up the twitches. It feels like it’s vibrating at a very high speed. Can happen with extremely strong emotion or overexertion during the day.

If in legs or hands, pressure applied can stop it some. When it hits the throat, it constricts airway. Happens a lot if hands and feet are tingling before sleep.

Need relief or identification of what’s happening. I have a list of specialist I see (mostly RA related, but some back). They are stumped... wanting relief. Sometimes I can have a week with none, but that’s rare.

No medicine interaction. That’s been checked. Allergic to life, but no pattern has arisen in 5 years.
