recurring virus

I've felt unwell for over 2 years now and been continually back to my doctor who takes a blood test and says it is fine? My symptoms feel like a flu like illness hot breath, dizzy, weak with a headache, I also have a continual pink neck and I think it could be a virus or a recurring virus. I go approx 3 - 4 weeks feeling ill with these symptoms then I burn up - my body trying to get over it and eventually start to feel almost well for another two weeks sometimes more and then unwell again with the same symptoms. My doctor seems to think if it's a virus they can do nothing - no anti viral meds etc. This is making my life a real misery feeling unwell all the time and struggling on trying to ignore it and getting on with my life - not easy. Be grateful for anyone who has any ideas.

  • I was sick for a long time too....almost the same exact symptoms. The redness of your neck could be facial and upper body "flushing". I was experiencing that one too!! Find an NAET or Bioset practicioner near you and go. Stop wasting time with western docs who will take your money and offer no help except meds to "mask" your symptoms. I had severe chronic fatigue syndrome. The Neurologist who diagnosed me advised me to seek "alternative" medicine as he knows all too well that Western med doesn't have a handle on it. I've had 6 treatments and my symptoms are 90% resolved. I have my life back. Someone in this forum recommended it to me and I went. Now I am here, returning the favor and paying it forward...helping others like you. It's not a recurring virus, even though it feels like one...trust me...been there, done that. Best of luck with NAET/Bioset....others here agree...it's not just me!! Regards, mommy cat

Sometimes it takes a long time to track down diseases that are not mainstream... don't give up! Keep a diary of your symptoms and take it with you to appointments, because you might forget something that seems to be of no consequence that when seen by the Dr in the diary might be a huge clue as to the root condition. Don't let "I don't know" be an answer... if your Dr cannot figgure it out then ask for referrals to specialists that might. You are your own best advocate!
