Red round patch on scalp

Hi there I have a red patch on my scalp. It is dry and there is slight hair loss and slightly raised. I have had it for over a year and it is starting to grow in size. I have had no luck with medical professionals around here so it would be great to here someone's opinion on this site.I really appreciate your time. I attached a image of it below.
