I have just noticed a swelling/lump at the entrace to the vagina, actually just inside of it. Its rather large and painful but fleshy hard rather than rock hard, and when I touch it it bleeds, it doesn't seem to be in the right place for a Bartholin's abscess, inside rather than outside. I've been very ill recently, swollen hard lymph node under my ear, on my jaw, nausea etc, and now chest/back pain, could this be caused by this swelling in my vagina? I get shooting pains inside of me, what could this be? Could an infection have spread throughout my body? My white blood count is high but I have only just noticed this lump so not seen a doctor yet.
