recently my boyfriend went down on me an i have had a triple x done. i have a pimply thing which i think might be an ingrown hair but i wanna know whats the chances of him catching something from me????

I have an addition Help Me Please!!!I have just been diagnosed with H2. Never had any oral, nasal or genital signs or symptoms. I'm told I am contageous when lesions appear or during "SHEDDING". I am no expert but shedding is when you can pass the virus even though you don't have a sore or have any symptoms. I have heard that people with HSV 2 shed 6-10% of the days that they have no symptoms. There is no way to tell if you are shedding, but shedding decreases over time. I'm not expert either, but I do know that I got herpes from a man who didn't have an outbreak at the time. We were living together, so I was taking the chance, but the herpes was passed on even without the outbreak. So take note of that!!That was 12 years ago..so I relate to your fears...hang in.
