Help! Herpes??

Hello.... about 12 weeks ago I had sexual contact with a girl (genital contact but not penetrative sex).
About a week later I began to experience some symptoms which are causing me a great deal of anxiety
I have had a persistent burning sensation around the tip / head of my penis. I have also had experienced a redishness around the tip of penis, and a burning sensation when urinating.
Less frequently, I have experienced a slight burning sensation and itchiness around my anus (usually after going to the toilet), and some pain in my pelvis / abdomen just above my penis and pain in testicles (which is a kind of tightness). I have also had some occasional wrinkles / cracks in the head of my penis, as though the skin is softer or something.
I've seen my doctor and had std tests which came back all clear (about 4 weeks ago), and have been treated for chlamydia and trich.
This is causing great anxiety... could it be something possibly like herpes (I've had no blisters though)?

i dont know everything about genital herpes, but i've had it for years & never had any of the symptoms you have-it's always open blisters. wait, i now recall i have had the "open cracks" thing down there. hmmm.. now i wonder!wonder what you'd find on the internet if you did a search on "symptoms of genital herpes"?? maybe you should try it.wish i could help more.Anonymous 42789 Replies Flag this Response

yeast infection, Candidiasis - could cause small blisters as well, usually remains in the hot wet spots. Unlike herpes which can appear on the shaft as well.use a jock itch cream, and look up candidiasis as well - you will probably find more "like" symtomsAnonymous 42789 Replies Flag this Response

There may not be blisters in the first outbreak, and herpes is contracted through skin to skin contact, so you may want to have that checked again.KnowSUMthings 153 Replies Flag this Response
