Mild, but notably lengthy cough

Hi,

I seem to have a mild chesty cough which never went out of hand. However, it seems to not want to go away, I've had it for at least 3 months if not more. I realize I should probably see someone but I figured because it is only mild that it can't be anything too serious. Has anyone experienced the same thing?
