Hi, I'm a sixteen year old female. For the past four days I have had body aches that cause me to not go to school this whole week. I've always had leg pain-which had seemed to get more severe as time goes by. I know I have inflammation around my knee and thighs area, but I don't know exactly what's causing it. But anyways, I'm not a physical person. I don't do much activity even though I know I should. The pain at some point feel kind of like I have a flu, and at other times feels like soreness or numbness.
This pain first began one night the entire day I had a headache. Well eventually my face had kind of went numb. So I went to the hospital but they said it was probably just from the migraine. The next day I woke up and my face is sore (Still is sometimes) and after a while I was kind of getting better. But then my head would start to hurt in random areas and I felt my hands start to hurt along with my legs and feet. Eventually that night my hands started to go numb and tingle (also legs and feet.)
Now I'm at that point where I feel like I can't do much without some soreness. My hands right now are sore from typing and I'm getting random pain.
I took a shower last night and the harshness of the showerhead killed my sore body. The temperature was on medium, not too hot and not too cold because I wasn't sure what my body could handle.
The randomness of the pain is weird. One second my right foot would ache and then my left shoulder would get a sharp pain.
The pain varies from my head (headache or migraine) neck, shoulders, arms (elbows, wrists, hands) slight abdominal pain (it had hurt to laugh at one point), all throughout my legs (including feet and ankles).
I'm not sure if this is some sort of flu, or condition? My mother said I had felt a little warm yesterday as if I had a 1oo degree fever, but we don't have a thermometer so we weren't sure. I don't have any other symptoms to being sick besides the body pain and headaches. I'm scheduled to see my doctor tomorrow (It was the earliest she could get me in.) Please let me know if you have any ideas to what this could be?
