I am so much in pain at my upper right abdominal region. Visit to O & G said I'm having excessive acid. So, I'm prescribed omeprazole and ranitidine. But, after 2 weeks, the pain worsen. I went to see gastroentologist. He said, if the pain doesn't go after that medication, then it is not gastro related. maybe due to pregnancy. But my scans all normal. Gallblader normal, blood test for liver function also normal. I can't stand this pain anymore especially after I eat something. But I need to eat since I need nutrition for my baby. Please help!!!

  • Try avoiding acidly foods like tomatoes in all forms, eggplants, lemon, lime, grapefruit, oranges, etc. A good health food store sells these paper strips to test your urine to see what your acidity/alkalinity level is. The more alkaline our bodies are the healthier we are. I have read we should eat 80% alkaline foods, 20% acidity foods. You can research on line. I believe you can take a daily dose of baking powder to balance out your body. I do not know if it is a tablespoon or ? Depends on person and their body state. Also chemicals can cause issues too. Like in soaps, detergents, shampoos, cosmetics, household cleaners in paper products processing, etc. The list goes on and on. Many of us are very unbalanced due to chemicals. Even glues used in furniture, wood and faux wood floorings, paint, etc. one day I was looking for baby wipes in my local grocery store. I wanted to find something to keep in my car to wipe hands. When I saw ingredients I nearly screamed with shock. Read labels!!
