I took a hard fall on both knees, on a ceramic tile floor, back in May. Both knees swole up & became black & blue with the left knee being worse. It was sore but I could still walk around & bend the knees so I just waitied for them to heel. It took about 7 weeks before all of the black & blue area had gone away. Now I have bad edema in my left lower leg where it is swollen from the knee down to the toes & red, it hurts like ***l to even attempt to kneel on the knee, & there is something hard right on the ball of the kneecap that isn't on the right knee. Last week I went to the emergency clinic & they did an ultrasound to make sure I didn't have a clot but didn't do anything else. I'm female, 59, extremely overweight, & have rheumatoid arthritis to boot. I'm beside myself. Has anyone else had a similar problem?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
