Hello! I am at my wit's end and hope someone may be able to help me! For the past 5 years I have had what I believe to be eczemahttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif on my hands. I get little blister like bumps on my palms and fingers (on the palm side). They dry up and my skin peels. I have been to over a dozen dermatologists and have tried every cream available. The only remedy that appeared to help was an oral steroid. Obviously I cannot take that indefinitely.

Then, last year in December my pinkie nail began to get the blister looking bump (yellow-pus filled) under the nail. My nail began to lift and fall off. To this day, it will grow some, but it is very thin, snags on everything, so I must keep it cut down. In June, the same thing happened with my thumb on the other hand. Again, it gets the yellow circle under the little bit of nail left, dries up and lifts. I have a tiny bit of nail left, but again, have to keep it cut short.

In addition to the dermatologists, I have spoken with my primary physician and a homeopath. Nothing is helping. This weekend I noticed two of my toenails, (the small toe and big toe on my left foot), getting the spots. These spots appear to look lile oil spots under the nails. I do not want to lose any other nails. Half of it may be vanity, but they really hurt when dry and unprotected.

I have been searching and searching, hoping these folks may be wrong and the nail problem may be something different in addition to the eczema. Any advice would be welcome!
