Okay so I was in bed one night trying to get to sleep when I suddenly got an uncomfortable tingling sensation in my left testicle. Since then this pain seems to come on randomly and certain factors seem to make it worse:
First of all, the majority of times I get this pain is when I'm sitting down and not moving.
There are many things that stop these random attacks, mainly being either holding my left testicle with my hand and moving my body (eg. moving my leg up and down) Walking around also seems to help immensely.
I've been finding it very hard to sleep with this, the best way I've been dealing with it is getting my mind off it and holding my left testicle. But, I feel no pain from it when waking up from sleep.
I've had it about 2 days now, and today I have felt a bit of pressure in my left testicle.
Now I've looked at my testicles and there seems to be nothing wrong with them at all, the only thing I did see was a dark purple vein but I believe this is normal. I've tried taking paracetamol, but that's of no help.
Also I've never had sex, and I'm 16.
I do feel a bit embarrased to go to a Doctor about this, so I've came on here for an opinion.
Is it possible for my mind to be doing this also, because it often seems to happen as I'm worried when the next random attack will be?
