Renal failure patients are worrying about the symptom of high creatinine level in blood. This is because at least 50% of kidney function has been damaged if they have this symptom. If one just receives dialysis to reduce the creatinine level, the kidney function can not be repaired. Therefore one with renal failure may need to receive dialysis for one’s rest life. But if we can repair one’s damaged kidney function, kidney can excrete creatinine effectively again, then one need to receive dialysis but not yet can avoid dialysis. People who just receive dialysis have a chance of getting rid of it. He or she does not need to receive dialysis. Is there any treatment that can repair kidney function? The answer is yes. Stem cells treatment is the latest treatment method of kidney diseases including renal failure. Although it can not make your kidney as a new one, your kidney can be partly repaired and excrete wastes effectively such as creatinine, urea again. Therefore what is stem cells treatment?
Stem cells treatment in 2011
Stem cells, which are biological cells found in all multicellular organisms, are a kind of cells that can regenerate masses of daughter cells and have the potential of developing into many different types of cells in the body. There are two main types of stem cells: embryonic stem cells and adult stem cells. Stem cells may one day be used to make cells and tissues for therapy of many diseases, including Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, spinal cord injury, heart disease, diabetes and arthritis. In renal failure treatment, the stem cells will be intruded into kidney lesion and produce new renal function cells to replace the dead kidney function cells. Then kidney function can be partly repaired.
