creatinine clearance

i have been suffering with edema for a year
while taking predisone for some reason relieves it
i needed to try to find out what is causing it
my dr did a 24hr urine test
the creatinine clearance shows to be high
what does that actually mean
it said on the internet
cancer or ulcerative colitus
which does not make sense for me
