Hi, i'm 37 years old, i went for a general health check up last week. undergone Ultra sound test and renography found to be my left kidney relative functionality is 13% and right kidney is about 87%. The doctor is advising me to under go for an operation to remove the left kidney. Follwing are the renal analysys results.
Left Right
kidney Area (cm2) 68.12 57.39
Kidney depth(cm) 4.44 4.46
Perfusion % (int) 47.07 52.93
Uptake % (int) 38.41 61.59
GFR: 7.83 53.82

Time to peak: 20.73 5.23
Peak to 1/2 peak: NA 6.
20min/Peak: .96 .36
20min/3min ratio: 2.01 .43
Diurectic 1/2: NA 4.25

Attaching all the reports here with, the surprising thing is that i don't have any symptoms with respect to this condition.

Can anybody advise me, is it must to remove the kidney or any alternative treatment is there? and firstof all this diagnosys is correct? it would be a great help if you can revert back your opinions ASAP.

Thanks and regards,
