I am a 20 year old female.

Two nights ago I sat at my computer after I got off work and when my husband came home from work I realized that the muscles in my forearm hurt really bad. Yesterday morning when I woke up, the muscle soreness had spread to my biceps and the sternum area of my ribcage.

Also two nights ago, I had a hard time sleeping and woke up with a stiff neck, which I still have.

Also, about 5 weeks ago I had surgery where they had to put the IV in my hand and it created something that looks like a blood clot in my hand. It is very painful to the touch, even now. My vein bulges in about 3 spots where it looks like there is something in my vein.

I am not sure if any or all of this is related, I just figured as much information as possible is better to diagnose medical problems.

I don't have health insurance so I am trying to figure this out myself...

  • Sounds like Fibromyalgia, I have the same symptoms, and that was one of the closest results I found related to those symptoms

  • I had this this morning and what seems to be helping is sun contact. I have my shirt off in direct sunlight and it's helping!
