I have tried every over the counter itch cream lotion out therewith no avail. Please someone help It is truly miserable . I just recently had a full workup at DR and everything came back clean bill of health. I am taking Paxil and Busbar for depression and Anxiety. It happens more at night than during the day but sometimes it happens whenever.I have no signs of rash or marks of any kind except where I scratch so much it bleeds any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

I now am having it on my right arm. Scratching it makes it worse. I use Lanacane.

  • If you have other minor symptoms like low to medium levels of ankle and or wrist pain or things that do not seem noteable untill you think about them.Could the pain be described "as if caused by insect bites".Does it tend to come on at specific times, like evening, or when not doing too much. Then possibly 45mg to 75mg zinc suppliment per day (official dietry req' is 10mg to 15mg per day)."Zinc with Copper" seems to make no difference, but would be recommended for "long term use".Your should notice a substantial change inside 72 hours (probably quicker). So buy a small bottle first. You probably do not have a zinc defficiency, but it appears the high dose actives other parts of the body.If suppliment does work, periodically stop taking the suppliment, if the symptoms return, try a lower dose (e.g. "as the stone rolls, you do not need to put so much energy to keep it rolling").After 14 days speak to your Doctor (or sooner if you are concerned).Probably suppliment duration will be between 4 and 16 weeks. If not the above, apply Witch Hazel (Hammermellis Water) to the irritation area + 3 inches around the irritation, you may find that it dries out quicker in some areas, apply more Whitch Hazel to these areas.Try the many simple herbal rmedies (possible even homeopathic remedies).Good luck, because such a simple hassle is actually very unpleasant.
