hi can some one please help im 28 year old male with the following symptoms.
red rash around eyes that looks like whelps when i get in the sun.
extreme fatigue.
pain in both knees both shoulders and feet and left elbow.
slight pain when i take a deep breath.
cant sleep. or crash for 12 hour and still feel bad.
some times very rapid heart beat 120 to 130 beats.
sometimes blood preasure shoots to 155/120.
general stiffness all over.
the only constant is achy joints , rash and fatigue evey thing seems to come and go somtimes last a week or only a day or too.
all xrays mri negative. had a low positive ana 40 i believe.but was told nothing to worry about i dont have insurance and am paying out of pockett so if someone could give a clue to whats going on id appericiate it. allthe doctors are looking at me like im crazy. thanks

Have you been checked for Lyme Disease? A lot of your symptoms seem to fit and, if you HAVE been checked, get checked again. Lyme's is REALLY hard to diagnose because the test doesn't check everything (that have to order different ones) and you can get a false negative.Tired in NJ 6 Replies Flag this Response

no i havent the only thing the doctors have done was an ANA LOW POSITIVE. MRI NEGATIVE. 10 SETS OF XRAYS NEGATIVE. KIDNEY FUNCTION TEST NEGATIVE. other than that they just tell me they cant find anything wrong with me. thanks for your reply.jhopkins 24 Replies Flag this Response

my guess is that you have fibromyalgia as part of another conditon. i suggest seeing someone who knows how to test for fibro (using the fibro tender points, most doctors dont know how to diagnose this. You may need to see a specialist).. and then take things from there (they'd know of over lapping conditions).taniaaust1 2267 Replies Flag this Response

i just looked up the last two sujested and other than sore joints it dosnt sound like what i have. they both have skin lesions. mine skin rash is just red and lays almost flat then when im in the sun it bumps up like acne or a bug bite or something it getts really red and hurts dosnt itch no scabs or sores dermotalogist thought lupus . primary said no im a man. sent to a orthopedic specialist for joints said nothing wrong with me.jhopkins 24 Replies Flag this Response

sore knees then high blood preasure and fast heart rate then rash on my face then shoulder pain then foot pain then ankel pain then left elbow. im on prednisone becuase i get a bad reaction to the histamines that build up in my body after taking the vicodin and anti inflamitory i was on voltaren when i had a reaction but they switched me to naproxen but i still react. oh my newest symptom is a pain in chest when taking a deep breath. it dosnt hurt when breathing normally just deep breaths sighs yawns ect. pain is made better with anti inflamitory. thanks for your imput.jhopkins 24 Replies Flag this Response

That seems really upsetting. But, I am still thinking lyme's. Give me a day or two to look around. I am not a doctor in the slightest, though, just someone trying to help you find answers. Have you seen any other specialty doctors? For example, someone could be short of breath, coughing and weezing. They think, hey I'll go to my doctor or a pulmonologist. Their first thought isn't it could be my heart and I should see a cardiologist. But, my mom is now seeing one for a weak heart wall muscle.She's doing great, now that she is seeing the cardiologist. But it took her 3 months to get the referral because everyone kept saying she had a bad chest cold. My point is, maybe some other part of the body is creating all the other symptoms (i.e. look for the zebra not the horse theory). Just a thought. I'll be back if I find anything new. Good luck! Check out Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. It could also be a bunch of rarer auto-immune disorders. I'd recommend a Rheumatologist if you can see one and a Cardiologist. Together they should be able to figure you out.Tremors are probably Neurological.dizzy lizzie 192 Replies Flag this Response

i was hospitalized 3 years ago for chest pains with rapid heart rate and high blood preasure. they kept me for 3 days and ran probably every test on my heart and said nothing wrong. ekg,ultrasound,nueclear stress test,and anthoter machine but dont remeber what it was. all they said was my white blood cell count was high. and put me on antibotics and blood preasure meds. then 2 months ago my new doc told me when going back over the test results from 3 years ago that my kidney function test was off alittle retested now normal. thanks for your help im a father of 3 and i hurt so bad some days i cant play with my kids or so wore out i cant get off the couch others im fine just achy and stiff.jhopkins 24 Replies Flag this Response

Are you saying that your body was attacking the medications or are you saying there was an allergic rection. Not sure why you would be put on naproxen if you had an allergic reaction (possibly) to Voltaren. They could try celebrex though I am not sure that will help you as the only drug for the symptoms. Prednisone causes some of these symptoms as well. When are you going to a Rheumatologist? Even if you have a low positive ANA you still have many symptoms of a Rheumalogical problem. Why not see a specialist? p.s.= I know your fustrated.. we've all been there, but I can feel your fustration thru the words your typing. i was put on naproxen becuase my doctor thought thats a combo of voltaren and vicodon led me to a reaction to histamine.the rash has been on my face for 2 years normally flat just alittle red but when im in the sun it turns bright red and big whelps every year it spreads farther on my face around the out side of my eyes. the only symptom that is really new is the left are twitches. thanks you all for your help. i see the Rheumatologist in a month there isnt many around me so they are hard to get into.jhopkins 24 Replies Flag this Response
