i developed a perineal abscess 3 cm away from the side of vaginal opening two years ago for which an incision and drainage was done, one year later i again developed an abscess this time on the exactly opposite side,which developed a sinus and burst its material, however after that i continued to get discharges often from the sinus, now one month ago i developed another abscess on site at which incision and drainage was done , which has developed a sinus and is discharging inspite of taking antibiotics, the gynaecologist i consulted says that once the infection was controlled she wants to explore and see wat is wrong. wat could this be(she has ruled out a bartholins abscess) ??????is exploration needed?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
