Okay first of all I am 17 years old. Im the type that catches everything coming and going. My whole life I've been getting sick a lot it seems. When I was about 6 or 7 I had ear tubes put in my ears, when I was 9 I had my tonsils and adnoids removed, and when I was 15 I had my gall bladder removed. Right before I had my gall bladder removed the gastrologist did a test (I can't remember what it was called but he ran a tube down my throat to see in my stomach) and he said I didn't have any ulcers, so then he did a test on me to see if it was my gall bladder. My gall bladder was only working 16% when it should have been atleast 30% he said. For the past 2 months I have had strange white looking stuff in my stool and after I go to the bath room it burns. The burning feeling has gotten worse this past week and there is more infection (atleast I think thats what it is) in my stool! About an hour ago I went to the bathroom and the pain was so bad I was in tears. It's gross to talk about but I need some suggestions on what this might be. Also the water was really dark after I went to the bathroom tonight. I went to the doctor last week and he sent me to the lab to get blood work and I had to give them a stool sample. Well the people at the lab said it would be atleast 3 days before the results of my stool sample came back, and the next morning my doctor's office called and said it was all normal. If it is normal why is there white stuff in my stool, why am I hurting so bad afterwards, and why didn't this happen to me all my life if its "normal"? My grandma had bowel problems and right before she died her bowels busted. There wasn't anything they could do either. I don't want to end up like that. Also my aunt has bowel problems, they think she has IBS but they have told her numerous things she had besides that. Every doctor tells her something different. So bowel problems run in my family on my mom's side. And colon problems run in my family on my dad's side, my dad's father had colon cancer. Any suggestions and advice is greatly appreciated!
