my 64 year old dad needs help

My hope is that the symptoms that I list are familiar to someone so that they can give me a direction to start. My dad is 64 and constantly shuffles his feet involuntarily. He always makes these grunting or "humming" sounds. His personality has changed from an easy going sweet Christian man to an irritable, sometimes downright mean person. He skinned and bruised up his nose last night, but cannot remember what happened. He cant remember if he has taken his meds or not. we have seen a neuologist but to no avail. please if anyone has any idea on what I should research, please let me know. I love my dad and want to help him but I am at the end of my rope.

Contact your family doctor and go over his meds,my dad is 68 and he also does this humming or grunting sound and it is annoying as heck,but have his meds checked for side effects,some meds can affect memory,and irritablity,I would go to a different neurologist and get another neuro workup.simidrm 36 Replies Flag this Response
