I hope I will get some good replies. I am a 20 year old female. I have a lump that seems to be on the left side of my first rib. Sometimes its really painful and sometimes I just feel a dull ache in that area. It does not stick out, but the left side looks more puffy and you can definitely feel the lump. I also can geta "spasm" and when I breathe in, it hurts a lot. I usually have to sit and take short breaths. I keep telling the doctors that this lump has something to do with my left back pain and left arm pain. They look at me like im crazy. I have had:
numerous X-rays - Showed nothing but that my left clavicle is higher than my right
2 ultra sounds - Showed nothing but a different measurement on my left side.
MRI - Nothing but I believe my doc ordered it for neck and left rotator cuff.
Blood test - Showed I am anemic (taking supplements) Low vit D (taking supplements) Kind of low thyroid but still in the normal range. nothing else really. I do get random patechiae on my arms. Palletes are normal count. I have allergy to dust mites and get rashes.
I am going to be seeing a breast cancer/general surgeon clinic this Monday (april 1) I dont think it is breast cancer but it will be nice to be seen my a specialist who may refer me to someone better. I feel like its maybe my ribs and its affecting my muscles which affects my nerves? Im not sure. I have done many searches and Im not sure. I think it causes shortness of breath as well. Massaging helps a bit. Also when I go in the hot tub, it helps a bit as well. Never goes away. U haven't had any injuries on it. Le me know if you guys have the same. Its driving me crazy and we should help each other.
