  • I've seen those bumps before - It was an STD.Please don't be embarrass to get it checked out - just do it.If you're sexually active, without a condom (including receiving oral sex), someone elses future should be considered as well.Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.Female in Chicago.

  • This could be HPV. I've been doing a lot of reading about it because a pap smear recently came up abnormal and they think this is the most likely cause. It's one of the most common of the STDs. By all means for peace of mind, get tested.Oh and by the way, even those who wear condoms can still get HPV (genital warts) because it can be passed from partner to partner through sweat. And even sexually monogamous couples or people with few partners can manifest symptoms years later. Also, don't assume you got these from a most recent girlfriend or from your spouse. The best thing to do is get tested and then learn as much as you can about what you have before you accuse a partner. Don't do what my partner did to me and treat me like I had been cheating on him because if it is HPV it can lay dormant in your system a long time before showing any symptoms (warts). I mean even he could have given it to me, because when they test for STDs they don't test for HPV. Fortunately, the warts are treatable and this is not a virus like AIDs, Herpes, Gonnorhea or Syphillis that could have horrible, horrible long term health effects. But you do want to protect others from infection by and know what you are dealing with.

  • What you may have is lichen planus,if it is not a symptom of an STD.LP is not contagious, and it manifests on the penis sometimes as small white bumps, almost spikey in nature directly on the rim.Check out lichen planus of the penis on yahoo search. There are some good sites with pics.Good Luck!!

  • From what i understand you have "pearly penile papules". I have them too. They are little (1mm) string-like white things coming out of the rim of the head of the penis. If that is what you have don't worry they are COMPLETELY baning. Its just aesthetic problem if you don't like them (i dont mind). Ive had them since 13 years old and now im 25. check out wikipedia and google for pictures.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hirsuties_papillaris_genitalis

  • Based upon your description, the condition is known as pearly papules and results from sebacious fluid that becomes concentrated near the surface. It is benign in nature and not associated with any type of STD. It is not wise to try and pressure the areas thinking that it will expulse the material, for it is not associated with acne and the fluid is more tenuous in nature. Best regards, J Cottle, MD

  • there is not cream or pills you can take from the research I,ve done. There is a laser treatment that you can get , I,ve had this condition for 10 years and it never has been an issue with any girl I,ve been with. I personally don;t like them and tend to avoid recieving oral sex as this is the only time a girl would really have the chance to notice them but like another poster said, just be sure to reasure any girl with what they are should they notice them.

It says that this condition occurs mostly in uncircumsized men, but I was circumsized at birth but I think there was a problem and I don't believe I was fully circumsized. I was wondering, one if you're circumsized and the reason I ask is because I've noticed here recently that the skin just below the rim or right at the rim of my penis is very sensitive especially during masturbation. Is this a normal thing for uncircumsized men, or you? I'm trying to figure out if I have another condition that I need to get checked out. Thank you!

  • You should still get tested for an STD just to stay safe if you see anything else that doesn't look normal to you get yourself checked. Hope this helped.

How can I girl see that and not get turned off??Good hygiene and washing your ***k with skin friendly soap will reduce them in size. the reason why circumsized people get them less then non circumsized is because their rim of the penis is more likely to be dry and clean.
