i have been experiencing this strange thing for some time now - it usually happens every 3-4 months... so, basically, it happens always at night, when i go to sleep. i fall asleep, then after half an hour i wake up, very nervous, very tensed, i need to get up, and then i can see and feel that my leg muscles are starting to shake (it is visible) and i cannot control it. i usually also get a need to go to the bathroom. this muscle shakiness lasts for about 10mins, and then it stops. other parts of my body do not shake nor twitch. it sound really strange. does anyone know what this could be?
and last nite my muscles started to shake just right after i laid down in bed, trying to get sleep, but it lasted only 2-3 mins. and last nite i had also felt some lightheadedness prior to muscle shaking.
any ideas?
thank you in advance
