Hi All
I am at my wits end, I don't know how I am going to carry on.
Basically this started last December, when I had a pain bedind my right eye in the corner, a sharp throbbing pain. This lasted throughout Dec, and I felt lethargic, feverish, tired etc - Docs said -cluster headache?.
Gradually in January the pain changed, and I began to have daily facial pain over my forehead, bridge of my nose, all down my nose. Ears begain to pop, felt like throbbing continual pain. Pain behind my ears throbbing... Docs said maybe sinusitis....use steroid nasal spray. No symptoms change, feeling progressively iller....docs refer me to neurologist, who did the basic tests, nothing showed up, had a CT scan of brain and sinuses, nothing showed up, had blood tests, nothing showed up (although some got lost?!) Symptoms no better, headaches/face ache every day, not relieved by any painkiller to date. Saw ENT - looked up my nose with camera, nothing seen. No sinus problems. Must be muscular pain, Prescribed amitriptyline - take for 3 months together with neck physio - no change
Pain gets worse, back to gp, prescribes antibiotics, nothing helps.
Have tried pizotifen, cocodamol, ibuprofen, diflonac,
pain varies on a daily basis but is always there.
Have tried
