My daughter had tonsillectomy and adnoidectomy 3 weeks ago. She had sensitivity to anesthia and the codiene. However, after dyhydration recovered seemingly well. however, before her post op appt. she started with a fever and a cough - we took her to pediatrican to get swabbed for flu. She was negative but since she had fever above 100, he gave her antibodtics. She seemed okay but not quite herself. Then she started getting real faint and blood pressure dropping. We took to postop and the ENT says throat looks healed fine but he was concerned about her coloring and then hearing about her being faint makes him worried. He checked out a CBC they did in Sept for a UTI she had and noticied she was slightly anemic. So he sent her for blood work. It came back okay and said if she is faint to take her to pediatrican. She was not bad - not herself for two days and then last night said she felt passy-outy and she had fever of 101. This am woke up with fever 100.2 and gets faint when she stands bp is down to 90/32 (she is 7, however and tall as 9-10 year old). she is lethargic, can't concentrate i extremely pale and has fever - any thoughts. We have an appt scheduled, but not with regular dr who was booked today.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
