lymph nodes enlarged,odema,constant sore spot left side of tonsils

Question

im a 17 year old male and im very worried about my symptoms in the last 6 months
ive had gross oedema swelling of the legs abdomen and face
and enlarged lymph nodes everywhere from the collar bone up
my energy is depleted and ive now got a constant sore spot in the left tonsil area of the throat
i sometimes have a mild metallic taste in my mouth
can anyone help as i don't want to go to the doctors without substantial cause

this would be enough cause for me to go to a doctor.  only there can you get a diagnosis and a definite "yes" or "no" as to whether you should be worried about this or not.

Is this diverticulosis?  CST scan saw inflamation in S of colon. Prescribed ciproflaxacin & mrtronidazole for two weeks.  Non-stop watery diarreah.  Stopped medication after two weeks, but diarreah continues.  Pain on left side when dehydrated, seems worse.  Left side slightly painful to touch. Many thanks for comments.  I don't want to go to flagil.

Please do not wait to go to the doctor.  My daughter is 16 and she just had a cough and a lymph node in her supra-clavical area (where the neck joins the shoulder).  She had no pain at all just a cough that she could not get rid of.  They finally did a chest x-ray and found a large mass that was pressing on her lung.  It turned out to be Hodgkins lymphoma.  She is now in treatment and doing well.  I am not saying that is what you have but we would have never imagined in a million years she had cancer.  Do not wait just bite the bullet and go to your doctor.  What can it hurt? You should never prolong seeing a doctor when you have symptoms you are unsure of. We sometimes are scared of the results, but catching symptoms earlier on can decrease the risk of a disease becoming fatal. Waiting only increases the chances. Getting results is always better than not knowing at all...and I am always in favour of a second oppinion. Also remember, research things for yourself, because doctors aren't always right...and be persistent for answers.
