Any help is greatly appreciated!
Drs don't seem 100% sure on the problem. Saw internist and rheumatologist. I was having a lot of
Hip joint pain and felt a small lump on my thigh/at my rt hip joint the end of last year. Wasn't painful initially. Gradually got bigger, became red and was painful. No known cause. Did a biopsy and ct scan and they said it was cellulitis and panniculitis. Biopsy done a month ago and stitches didn't hold bc skin so inflamed - that's what the bandage is for. 1st pic is before biopsy. Tried 4 different antibiotics but they didn't work. Scans show its just in my fatty tissue. Did tests and had a positive Ana and double stranded dna tests. Diagnosed with Lupus but don't meet other criteria. Started me on cellcept but no change yet. This has been expanding and painful for almost 5 months straight. Can't take it any longer. Anyone know what this might be or how to treat it? Please help!!
