I broke my arm three weeks ago and had surgery on it a couple days later. They put a plate in with screws. They have me in a removable brace now. Everything seems to be good except for my thumb is numb feeling still it's in the inside part and very tip and it goes all the way down to where my thumb connects to my hand. If I put any pressure on it it feels like I'm getting a little like shock feeling. It gets very annoying and most of the time I have to stop what I'm doing because I don't like the way it feels. What I'm wondering is if this is normal? Could I have got nerve damage from the broken arm or did the doctor do damage to me that can't be fixed. Also I have limited movement to my thumb. I can move it but I can't bend it like the doctor wants me to be able to. I also want to know how long does it take to get full movement range of all my fingers and wrist and to be able to flip my arm over without moving my elbow.
