Im 30 years old and 10 years ago I found out I had Hypothyroidism but the past years It got worse and I now have to check every couple of months.
Im a very active person, I do sports 5 times a week and eat only healthy food that I prepare myself.
For the past month I`ve been feeling horrible, like I could just die any minute of the day.
I have no energy at all, if I could just stay in bed and sleep it would be great. It feels like im caring an extra 50 kilos on my back all day long. Everything hurts, i have no strength anymore, i have to practically drag myself around the day. At work I have to sit often and almost fall asleep doing it.
Im always very cold, it doesn't matter how hot is outside im always with the chills.
Im always light headed and dizzy, if I move my eyes too fast or turn my head i loose my balance and it became very hard to drive because it feels very strange the movement of the cars and street it`s like im going to pass out. I cannot go on highways anymore because the speed makes me extremely dizzy.
Because i`m always always so tired i loose my patience very easily and end up being rude to my partner, with my dogs and everyone around me. It`s so frustrating because i know im being rude but i can`t avoid or control it all the time. I just get angry with everything and everyone.
Every bone hurts in special hips and knees and i have a lot of cramps lately.
I know i`m not depressed at all I just don`t know what I have and my doctor seems not to care or not to find anything strange.
I did a blood test last week to see if it was my thyroid again that needed attention because some of this symptoms i have also with my hypothyroidism but this time it came normal.
On the other hand my vitamine D was low (23 considering normal is 30-100) and my ferritine was also low (10 considering normal 15-150).
My White Blood cells and Neutrofils are also low and comparing my exams from 2011 until now it`s the first time they are low. I don`t know if there is something to do with how Im feeling but I just want to feel energetic again like I always did. Im tired of sitting around all the time.

This are some of the things i`m feeling but there are many other things, and i don`t know what to do. Im taking now supplement of Vit D and iron like the doc asked me to but i`m afraid it`s not working.

Should I see a specialist? What kind? Does anyone have similar symptoms?

I hope i can feel like myself again.

  • Suggestion: Changing your thyroid medication to something like Armour Thyroid or Nature Thyroid. Check your cortisol levels. Also, check your iodine levels (a blood test).
