I have had a lost of job and finances until I became
homeless. I found after much searching that some medications or having had a virus infection (Rheumatic Fever)as a child, which is actually a strep throat that went untreated.

I was finally told I had acid reflux and needed voice coaching to learn to speak correctly. That didn't work.

After teetering on the brink of depression I started researching causes.

2 years later I found that I needed a mitral valve implant as my blood was backing up into my heart. The cause I was told was many years ago I contracted a virus, (rheumatic fever).....

Eventually it became clear to me that the vocal cord dysfunction came as a result of the virus that caused me to have a mitral valve implant.. I need some type of surgery that will allow me to speak without gasping with a whispery voice. Can someone please help with a suggestion??....
