Don't think its a tapeworm BUT.......
I had an open sore about 4 months ago. A common house fly came in and bit me right on the open sore. A month or 2 later, I started noticing little spikes coming up out of my skin. Soon it was all over my body. I mean on my face and finger and toenails. I got sick (fatigue and massively thirsty) and finally went to the derm, MD After several visits, she couldn't find anything wrong. What is going on? The spikes REALLY hurt when they move around. I'm afraid I've got (geez) worms from the fly bite. They are destroying my body. I look horrible. My nose is sunken in all the way on one side. When I try to pull them out, they roll around to turn inside out and about 50 spikes sink into the sore, I guess to keep it from being pulled out because I can't get it out, it hurts too much.
