Why do I confuse my words so much?

I am 19 years old in college and very healthy as far as I know, but this has been happening so often to me lately. I will be talking to my friends and trying to describe something's color. For instance if something is yellow, I think that's what I am going to saying but I name another color, like red for example. I have no idea why this happens but I've noticed how often its been happening. I also have trouble using specific words when I talk, like I will know there is a good word to use but my mind just blanks. I am also very terrible at thinking of things on the spot. It could just be bad memory but I thought it would be something worth looking into. Hope someone can give me some insight.

  • check your diet - healthy? no junk food, ready meals or takeaways? plenty of fresh vegetables, meat and fish, nuts and seeds. Good food essential - we are what we eat! Also - how much stress are you under, and do you get sufficient sleep ? No abuse of alcohol or drugs and so on. Look at your lifestyle and ask yourself if it is in balance.
