Off and on I develop painful red patches on one eye-lid or another (seldom both at the same time). I've also been getting some itchy redness on my forehead that gets dry and flaky, but I thought it was just from the sun (I run a lot) but it's no longer summer/sunny out and I still have it. My eye lid on the other hand is very tender and stings. The corners of my eyes (close to the nose) have become somewhat swollen, a little red, and wrinkly.
I don't trust doctors - from reading many many posts it seems they just want to give you a cream that often makes it worse!
I'm mostly concerned at the moment with the patch on my eye-lid - it stings constantly - except when it develops yellowish scales, then it becomes itchy.
One suggestion I read was to wash your face with Selsun Blue because it contains an active ingredient in it that helps with many skin problems, but I don't know how long I need to do this before it works.
Any other suggestions??
