I have a question. When I get too hot, for example, a shower, bath or a hot coffee. Triggers can also be going into a hot room, being anxious, anything that raises by body temperature. (The feeling anyways.) I get a prickly sensation all over the body, not itchy as such just more of an unbearable sensation.
I've been to see three doctors and i've been told it's urticaria although they have done no tests other than a standard blood test.
The first doctor gave me hyoscine butyl bromide, which later I discovered treats stomach cramps... then another doctor gave me an antihistamine called fexofenadine hydrochloride. These still don't really help.
The doctors say it's Urticaria however after doing some internet searching and looking at photos, my rash is nothing like Urticaria. My rash also disappears as quick as it comes as soon as I cool down. I'm sick of going to the doctors as I feel they haven't got a clue. Can anyone help? it drives me insane. it can flare up anytime, usually when I get too hot. Having baths are a nightmare.
