For 10 years had sensation of crawling on scalp, saw dermatologists who said it was my imagination. Started chronic hair-combing cycle to relieve sensation, and it pulls out hair that has grown under scalp. Hair has continued growing but in matted manner and appears damaged. Just had ACDF surgery for cervical spinal stenosis. Read articles saying scalp sensations can be result of problems in cervical spine. Still have itching but hair is longer, healthier-appearing and less matted. Will this eventually resolve? I don't know anyone who has experienced this.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
