When I lay down on my right side, my right rib cadge completley overlaps the left rib cadge, you can even see just by looking at my chest. I think I've had this for a while, maybe even since birth ( my parents did notice something wrong with my ribs but never got it looked at) however it is painful sometimes and I can feel my ribs rubbing against each other and sometimes my right rib cadge gets stuck and It kills! Also I can feel my left rib cadge pushing down, I'm worried it's pressing on my lungs:/. When I run, I have noticed I get out of breath very quickly and there is a deep burning pain between my ribs. It doesn't have a massive impact on my life but I would like to no if I should see a doctor/ or am I overreacting ?

  • It's better if you consult a doctor who can guide you in right direction and would tell you is there any serious problem and its better if you get your Xray done. You can have a look at http://www.osaliortho.com/.
