Pain in hands and feet and itching all over sometimes. Pain espiecially in hands severe-no diabetes

I was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy of unknown
Cause as I'm not a diabetic.
I'm not convinced there isnt another cause.
Pain in hands intense and often with less severe
Pain in feet and itch all over at times
Blood work all normal..
