Above are the symptoms that my daughter has had since I can remember. She is now eleven and can't go to the bathroom. She has a tear in her rectum area. She has been on Miralax for four years. They keep telling me "oh give it time to work?" How long are you suppose to go without going to the bathroom before this works? She would sleep close to 14 hours a day. She would not do school work or eat. She is now being treated for an eating disorder. She tells them that her anal area hurts and they will tell her it is her anxiety. I never knew anxiety could cause a tear in your rectum area!! I am no doctor but this doesn't make sense. Her paleness seems to come every time she needs to go to the bathroom but is unable. Please if anyone has any ideas, I would love to know. Oh and for the record, we would go to ER and they would look at her stomach and throat area, are there any tests, x-rays the doctors are able to perform that would show what is going on down there? Her dad has bowel problems, fistulas, and other symptoms that may be associated with crohns.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
