In 1992 I was 96 kilos. I had liposuction and lost 28 kilos. I kept my weight down until September 2015. I am now 78 kilos (1.57 m) and I cannot lose weight. I have Hashimoto's hypothyroidism. I have been told by various doctors to 'eat less'. I have been eating about 800+ calories/day since September 2015. I have not lost any weight. Now, I had some private tests to find that my protein and albumin levels are low. I got scared... I started eating more (I was scared for doing that as well). I have not put weigh on, but I feel better for it, for having had the courage to try to eat more I mean. I have been eating healthy because I have IBS so, no dairy products, soy, added sugar, only 1 fruit a day, not much red meat, etc.I take egg protein twice/day to help. I am worried I cannot discuss my obesity/get the right advice with anyone. I live in Australia. Help!!!!!!!!!! I do not want to be obese or malnourished. In 2 days time I'll have an abdominal MRI for my liver. I have liver cysts and discomfort in the abdominal upper quadrant.
In the house I can manage fairly well but in the street I can only walk very slowly and off legs. I feel better from my hypothyroidism since I started taking NDT. I am an elderly woman (80)...
