I'm a 31 yr male, overall-very healthy. In Jan. woke up with swelling mid-line neck, it responded immediately to augmentin, but once off meds. it comes back within 4-6 days. Thyroid tested fine. Blood work up normal. Biopsy (2x) came back non-diagnostic. (last one, doc. said it was like puncturing a balloon when he put in the needle!) Ct scan was normal. Saw 2 different ENT's. Now seeing infectious disease doctor. They all say they've never seen anything like this. Each time it comes back, it does seem to swell a little less-that is the only "progress". Now, I'm longest off meds (2 wks). At times feels like it is coming back,(sore & tender)but thankfully it has not swelled. Anyone ever have anything like this?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
