I am 57 y/old female. I have osteopenia( pre osteoporosis), fibromyalgia, disk problems, and spinal stenosis( narrowing of spinal canal). My nails have ridges and front part of my hair is thinning. Recent test showed low Vitamin D & low thyroid level. Nail changes are said to be due to vitamin deficiency. But good to ck. thyroid levels also.
