I've had hives now everyday for 9 weeks ... mainly on my hands and arms.
I am 36 years old and never suffered with anything like this before. Always been healthy anf fit, just suffered with hayfever since a child.
I wake to what look like mossie bites on my hand and then spots appear sporadically up my arms as they day goes on in random sizes. Sometimes legs and torso too. Eventually they die down only to then reppear. My doctor put me on a course of Steroids that didn't work, I currently take 1 x 180mg fexofenadine in the morning but don't think that is working. Bloods and allergy all back clear.
I know I probably don't get it as bad as most but every day and no rhyme or reason to it? For a week they were so light I actually though they were on their way out but this morning, really bad again!
Most sites I can find for help tend to be American and naming American drugs ... I am in the UK and the doctors aren't helpful - just something I have to live with. I have an appointment with a dermatologist but the earliest appointment is October 31st! Thankfully it is turning cooler here in the UK so I can wear long sleeves and cover up the hives but a holiday to Spain next is now filling me with dread ...
Getting so tired of this now ... just don't know why today is so much worse than yesterday.
