what is causing my hip pain? Could it be dysplasia, opinions and thought please!

I'm a 16 year old gymnast and I have been having pain in my left hip for the past two months, I haven't had a fall recently so I'm not sure what is causing the pain. I have seen a physio and the said to rest then go back. It always has an achy pain, but when I walk or sit for too long it gets worse and it is painful when I lay down. the pain has now spread to my groin and the back of the hip bone (don't know how to explain where it is).I have researched it and found this thing called hip dysplasia, but im not really sure if my symptoms match it. has anyone ever had similar or could anyone suggest what it could be?
