I missed my period last two months (Dec & Jan) and this month my period started on 11th Feb..it was light for about 4 days, and then it became heavier. Today's 11th day, and i still have my periods. I waited to see if it stops before going to the Doctor. But now I'm worried.
1. I never had this happen before. I had "some" irregular periods but very rarely and my periods never lasted for more than 4 days (3 days normal & 4th day light). This is the first time, it's happening to me.
2. I live with my boyfriend and we hardly had any sex. As far as I remember those 2 or 3 times, we had was also protected sex. I got a Home pregnancy test done and it came out negative.
3. I had a broken relationship a few months ago, and my ex-boyfriend was getting married. His memories and thoughts were haunting me and I was disturbed, crying almost everyday, distracted from my studies too. Could this stress be the cause for any hormonal changes resulting in prolonged periods?
I took cockroach killer accidentally on 9th Feb and I puked (food and dark brown blood) after about 6-7 hours. I went to the emergency 4-5 hours later and got a stomach wash done. I was under observation for 24hrs and all my reports came out to be normal (CBC, Thyroid, Sugar, ECG etc).
Do you think this has got anything to do with my periods?
I've been to the Local Doctor , and she said it could be because of stress. I'm taking Tranlok E to stop bleeding. By the way, I had similar stressful events in my life before too, but never had this periods issue before.
