Been gradually losing more and more hair, but in last 6 months it has gotten REALLY bad. So much so that it is now very noticeable. I've had my thyroid checked and it's normal. I also have extremely dry skin on the palms of my hand, particularly my fingertips...haven't figured if this is due to the arthritis in my neck or something different. This hair loss is really affecting me emotionally and don't even want to leave the house! I've always felt my hair was my best feature so my self-image is in the basement. Don't know what to do or ask next! Any suggestions?

  • If you're suffering from hair loss there are some great essential oils that may be able to help.
There are multiple essential oils that can help in hair regrowth due to their ability to stimulate the tiny blood vessels of the scalp.
The most common essential oils used to promote healthy hair would be Lavender, Clary sage, Juniper Berry, Atlas Cedarwood and Rosemary.
Rosemary and Clary Sage oils are natural hair thickeners and creates greater hair volume and make ideal oils for treating hair loss.
Its also a good idea to mix the essential oils with a carrier oil. One of the best oils for hair care would be the jojoba golden carrier oil. Jojoba oil can be used as a great healing hair conditioner and moisturiser. Due to its molecular structure, Jojoba oil has a very close resemblance to natural oil or sebum.

A great recipe is mixing Lavender, Rosemary, Clary Sage and Cedarwood together with Jojoba base oil. Mix the ingredients together and generously massage on head.
