I lose my hair in excessive amounts every day. I don't know why this is happening to me and I would like to know if there is anyone else who is experiencing what I am going through. Set aside from my hair loss I am always tired and I get dizzy for no reason sometimes. I also have a lot of leg cramps. I am not able to see a doctor currently but I have went to the doctor about these symptoms before but all they had done was suggest I start using minoxidol. I was given a thyroid test but that came back normal which confused me even more. I have noticed over the years my blood pressure has always been low, which doctors didn't seem too concerned about. Im extremely depressed about my hair and my confidence has decreased. Does anyone know what is wrong with me or is anyone experiencing the same symptoms?

  • Have you had your B12 level checked? Sometimes, the thyroid tests come back normal, but people still complain they feel hypo. It could still be hypothyroidism. Definitely check your B12. If you can't afford it, take high doses of methylcobalamin B12 sublingual. Important in case you aren't absorbing from your stomach. Don't worry about taking too much. The extra will be excreted in your urine. Also take a B complex. The amount of B12 in the complex won't be enough if you are low. Also, take a thyroid support supplement. Most important are the zinc & selenium. You must take the B vitamins for several months. You don't mention your age or sex. I had symptoms similar to yours & I was critical for B12 plus my thyroid labs were off kilter. Do your hands & feet tingle? Do you feel mentally foggy sometimes?
