I am 32 years old, I live an active lifestyle for the most part. I regularly ride my mountain bike for fitness. I have lost over 100 pounds through excercise and diet over the last two years. I also am currently on no medications, even though I have been on numerous OAB meds, as well as multiple rounds of different antibiotics in the past 6 months.
Now without further hesitation, my problem seems simple but I have not been able to receive a diagnosis and my quality of life seems to diminish every day. I simply feel like I always need to urinate. Especially right after I get done going, and when I'm sitting in my car or any upright position.
The sensation feels like I constantly have urine in the shaft of my penis. No matter what I do this sensation does not go away throughout the day and night. Seems like some days are worse than others but there is always a constant urge to go pee. Some days it feels as if I just need to go, really mild sensation, but other days it feels like I could have an accident if I don't concentrate deeply.
I have had just about every test done, including the rectal exam and even endured a cystoscopy. No anwsers. I have a doctor that is completely stumped, he sent me to a urologist that performed the cystoscopy. Now I am being sent to The University in Denver because my doctors in town have no clue.
Desperate for anwsers. Thanks in advance.

  • Are you circumcised? Because if your not the tightness of your foreskin can be the reason to be causing infection that cannot be seen in U.A. By the way how are you feeling right now?

  • Let me know what the University in Denver says brother. I've been dealing with the same thing for 7 months. I enlisted at the worst possible time in my life. Caffeine makes the condition 1000 times worse. Even with no caffeine, constant uncomfortable feeling in my shaft...specifically right behind the head of the penis on the bottom...I'm constantly grabbing and massaging my junk to attempt to alleviate discomfort. My girlfriend is stationed 7 hours away and when I drive, I can concentrate on the road and differentiate between discomfort and real urge to pee...but it sucks so much. Just saw the urologist again and prescribed Myrbetriq...seemed to be assisting until my ******s drank an energy drink called Bang. Messed me up for the rest of the day.

TESTS: Cystoscopy (enlarged veins on prostate, pain when he sprayed water down the tube that releases semen), Prostate exam (nothing significant), bladder and kidney ultrasound (clear), flow test (normal bladder refill and retention)
