I am 65 years old. I am generally healthy and enjoy working in my long time career as a para-legal secretary. Within the last month, I have been experiencing very strange vision issues that occur off an on. White sheets of paper appear blue. When I was talking to someone wearing a patterned shirt the pattern of their shirt extended up over their chin. My son was wearing black slacks and a red shirt. I visualized the pants and shirt being black and red checks. A pattern I often see on walls and large surfaces is a blue background with splashes of yellow and red and white spots. At first it only happened indoors but I am now experiencing episodes outdoors.
I did have cataract surgery 2 years ago which was very successful. I saw the opthamologist/surgeon who performed my cataract surgery last week for my symptoms and he is completely stumped. He has referred me back to my GP.
