16 months cough & vomiting, mechanical incontinence, pain & reflux bending - connected problem?

After a prolonged cold with nasal drip I had a cough & was prescribed 3 lots of antibiotics without effect. During this time I developed (diagnosed) mechanical bladder incontinence & indigestion plus vomiting during a cough, particularly after a meal. It didn't seem to matter what I ate, though spicy foods seemed slightly worse.

The mild pain I sometimes had on bending has become much worse and I have been on Omeprazole for 8 months – far longer than the patient leaflet implies and with symptoms apparently gone I forgot to take this, only for the indigestion problem to reoccur.

My G.P. has diagnosed cough asthma. I developed acute pain in my sides that lead me to go to A & E to be told I had a pulmonary embolism – given heparin which thinned my blood so when I coughed my eye went bright red from burst vessels! Tests confirmed it was not but I had enlarged liver and very low oxygen in my blood. Heart and lung tests were fine (An innocent heart murmur was all that could be found and later tests proved blood oxygen was at 98%) No answer has been given regarding the enlarged liver.

I think the cough has caused a hernia which in turn causes the gastro-digestive problems as well as the incontinence. But I can’t seem to get anyone to listen.
